Spring Creek Classic

The Golf Channel's Big Break Series will conduct tryouts for the upcoming Big Break at the Tarheel Tour's Spring Creek Classic at Spring Creek Golf Club in Gordonsville, Virginia. This is the second consecutive year in which the Tarheel Tour will host tryouts for the Big Break Series and the third occasion including tryouts in 2007 at the River Run Classic and earlier this year at The Manor Classic The tryouts will be conducted on June 17th during the official practice round for the Spring Creek Classic, which begins on June 18.

The host hotel for this event is the Holiday Inn Monticello. The preferred rate for Tarheel Tour Players is $74.00 per night double occupancy.  The Holiday Inn offers free wireless internet, free beverages, a complimentary fitness center with pool and whirlpool, a restaurant on site, and is conveniently located near downtown Charlottesville. This hotel is 17 minutes from Spring Creek.

Practice Rounds will be available to players all day on Monday, June 16 and from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Tuesday June 17. Players should call the golf course to schedule a tee time at (540) 832 0744.
